Purpose, concession and compressed logic

好 can introduce a purpose, 即使 maintains a result under an obstacle, and compact clauses leave some logical relationship implicit. Reconstruct the meaning from the full context before assigning a causal, conditional or concessive label.

So that with 好

好 before a clause can state the purpose enabled by the preceding action.

请说慢一点，好让大家听懂。

Qǐng shuō màn yī diǎn, hǎo ràng dà jiā tīng dǒng.

Please speak more slowly so everyone can understand.

即使…，也…

Even if

即使…也… says the main outcome holds even under a hypothetical obstacle.

即使下雨，我也会去。

Jí shǐ xià yǔ, wǒ yě huì qù.

Even if it rains, I will go.

就是…，也…

Concessive 就是

就是…也… can mean even if in a suitable conditional frame.

就是再忙，我也要去。

Jiù shì zài máng, wǒ yě yào qù.

Even if I am very busy, I still have to go.

Compact unmarked relations

Short neighboring predicates can imply a condition, sequence or response without a full connector pair.

你去我去，你不去我不去。

Nǐ qù wǒ qù, nǐ bù qù wǒ bù qù.

If you go, I go; if you do not, I do not.

你去我去，你不去我不去 is a compressed conditional dependence without a full 如果…就 pair. Interpret this as conversational ellipsis rather than a recommendation to remove all connectors from formal writing.

A result despite not doing

不…也… says a result holds even without an action or condition.

你不说我也知道。

Nǐ bù shuō wǒ yě zhī dao.

I know even if you don't tell me.
